Hello everyone. Just wanted to say a little bit.
Just got an 89 convertible, red lower, white rag top, red interior. My father bought it second hand, as his retirement gift to himself. End of May, he went to buy a 2019 for his 78th birthday. Was going to trade the 89 in until the dealer started messing with him on trade in prices. So....I got it instead of him trading it. I have been working on this car for him for the last 23 years that he has owned it. Doesn't need anything major. Just replaced the tires and will probably need the egr valve replaced. Other than normal wear and tear, it looks and runs good for 102,000 miles.
However, it needs a bit of a rumble added to it. Possibly headers, cats removed, and maybe a chip. No inspections needed here.
