Hello!
So I just moved to Las Vegas last month(i am military) and looking for a 2nd car. I currently own a BMW M235i, and have always been attracted to Corvette's and I think I am ready to make a jump into my 1st American Car. I do not know where to start, my buddy that is a vette fanatic told me to look at 97-99 c5's due to my price range of 12k. Any info would be nice and appreciated! I want to build the car up and get better at working and upgrading a car and want this as my weekend toy and project! Thanks in advance for the info!

My advice is to visit the C5 sections of the forum if that is the generation you are really considering and pay particular attention to the Stickies at the top of the pages. Lots of very good information can be found there. Also, ask any questions you may have as there are plenty of very knowledgeable members to help you out.
