I just crossed off a bucket list item and bought a 1996 C4 Collector Edition with approximately 22k. It is a Sebring silver lt1 with red interior currently being used as a daily driver until I retire in Oct 2019. Then it will be a weekend driver and cruiser in nice weather. Not interested in any performance modification, but I would like to do the following: Improve the ride quality if possible, replace weather stripping, and find a solid silver Targa top. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
First thing I need to do it replace a tail light housing, which has broken away from the bumper. I understand it easiest to replace by removing the license plate and backup light cover???
After that, I think the weather stripping needs to be replaced, although I haven't check for leaks. Any thoughts on a kit or doing it piece meal.
Thank you all
