New First Timer in Chicago
Hey everyone! I just picked up my first Corvette last week from the wonderful guys at Autosource Motors of Milwaukee. At the price, I couldn't turn it down - she's a 2001 C5 with 23k on the clock.
I've always owned and wrenched on Japanese cars and am coming from a stage 2 WRX, so this is *very* new territory for me. We'll see how long I can hold out before I start to want boost and coils... Truly impressed with the level of control this thing has in corners, especially without any suspension/handling mods.
There are a few little issues, like the common rubber isolator wear in the driver's seat and some separation from the fiberglass on the right trunk latch mechanism, but I'm very excited to start wrenching and working through this stuff with you guys!
