Hello from South Florida!
Hi everyone! I haven't been a car person long, but over the last 2 years my husband and I have been getting more and more into it. It's been my husband's dream to own a corvette since he was a kid and he has always wanted a yellow one, so a few months ago, I was browsing for fun and found a used 2015 Stingray in yellow with the 3LT and Z51 performance package for sale and a low mileage. We deliberated for a few months, thinking we were being irresponsible because we have a 1 yr old, and the car is also a manual transmission which we had never driven before. Nonetheless, we decided to buy it!
Needs some TLC because apparently it was left out in the sun too long but it's in good loving hands now. We fixed up the competition seats because the inserts were broken, and our next corvette project is getting the windows tinted.
I'm still stalling a few times when I take it out for a drive, and I get nervous as hell, but I hope to get over that soon and be more confident driving it. Regardless, it's been a lot of fun.
Would love to meet up with other South Florida corvette owners.
