Hi everyone. I’ve been into Corvettes for 30 years now. Started when my dad got his first (a rare ‘89 MN6 FX3) and it was many weekends of shows, races, road trips, and so on through my teenage years. I would eventually get my own, and daily drove a C5 for about 9 years. I eat, sleep, and breathe the car business. I’ve been a professional auto technician for over 20 years, and was even a Corvette/XLR certified GM Master Tech for a short stint at Cadillac.
Eventually my dad stepped away from Corvettes, and I did a few years later. He and I also shared a love of motorcycles and I still have a gigantic Harley today. Though, I’m going to be clearing up the spot in the garage and selling it soon. Because I have decided to get back into Corvettes. I think my timing is great since the C7 is fading away. And I’d like to get one before the inventory dries up. So after hearing about corvetteforum for many years, here I am. Should have been on here years ago, just never got around to it I suppose.
Well it’s a bit of a stretch, but I’ve got the money on hand, and life is short. Learned that all too well when my dad passed away at 67 barely a year after he retired. So in a bit of an homage to him, my search is for a new ZR1. He got a ZR-1 years ago when he was the age I am now. And he and I had many fun times in that particular Corvette.
The search is narrowing down and GM currently has a great discount going for the next month, so I’ll be showing my new car here soon enough!
