Welcome I remember when Konner offered the C4 special edition. if I remember it was a special paint colors and should have special emblems. Come on over to the C4 section and post up some more pics for us
• The Malcolm Konner Special Edition Corvettes (all coupes) were built by special arrangement with the Malcolm Konner Chevrolet Dealership in New Jersey in order to commemorate the dealership's founder, Malcolm Konner. The option consisted of a special silver-beige on black two-tone paint scheme and graphite leather interior. This option was reflected on the window sticker as RPO 4001ZA --$500.00 cost for MALCOLM KONNER SP. EDIT. PAI.
• Coupes were equipped with RPO Z51 handling package, sport seats, power driver's seat, Delco Bose stereo, and a bronze tinted clear top. All Malcolm Konner special edition Corvettes came with graphite colored interior.
• Production: Only 50 Corvettes were built with this special option. 20 were built with manual 4-speed transmissions, 30 with automatics. Ten coupes and ten convertibles were built with RPO Z51 heavy duty suspensions. One of the Malcolm Konner Special Edition Corvettes became the first Callaway twin-turbo engine conversion.
• Gary Konner, Malcolm Konner's son who worked at the family dealership, owns one of these special Corvettes.
