Hello,
my name is Mark and I live in Corpus Christi Texas. Just bought my first Corvette. It is an 85 in pretty good condition. I plan to restore it as much as is reasonable. This is also my first Chevy. I am a Ford/Import guy and have done a few low level builds. I always wanted a Corvette and down the road I want to find a 1969 and do a frame off build from the ground up. The 85 moves good so I am pretty pumped. Thanks for your time.

Welcome to the forum, Mark, and congratulations on your C4!
You'll find lots of great members and excellent advice in the C4 sections of the forum at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-1984-1996-19/.
Best wishes with your efforts on your '85!
Enjoy your ride and save the wave!
Thanks for the warm welcome. Here are a few photos. Ball joints and bushings are next. Engine has good compression and the trans is responsive. The previous owner replaced the gage console but now the radio and many of the electric stuff on the dash do not come on. Not sure where to start. The fuses look ok. Really happy about this car. I have always wanted a Vette even though I am.not a Chevy guy. The heater is not blowing hot so I am guessing the heater core is clogged. I will be back often with questions. Please bear with me on that. Have a great week.

Hello all,
I serviced the transmission on my 85 C4 and put new rotors and pads on the car. When I went to start it to warm the trans mission the engine ran poorly and seems to be missing at least one cylinder. After checking all the plugs, wires etc. Still ran like crap. I have fuel, air , and spark. I am thinking injectors. I have a new rotor and distributor/coil still to install. If that does not fix it I am not sure what to do next. Any advice would be great. Thanks
Mark
