New guy with a 2002 Z06
Hi, nice to join the forum. I'm just a few days into the Corvette experience having bought a 2002 Z06 in Millennium Yellow with 56,500 miles. It seems to have been well cared for and driven by sedate adults. I am in the process of methodically going through it for sorting-out purposes and will change all of the fluids to create a baseline for ongoing maintenance. I plan to use it mostly to enjoy it around the roads of Lake Tahoe, open roads of northwest Nevada, and an occasional track day. My last car was a Lotus Exige, which I thoroughly enjoyed and used for back road exploring, canyon carving, and track days. Through 12 years of owning and tracking the Lotus, I learned a lot about chassis set up, aero, and driving skills (with lots of more learning to do). I name each one of my cars; the Z06 has been named Yvette (for yellow 'vette) and is my first American brand sports car!

Thanks for the warm greetings! I look forward to enjoying my 'Vette, being an active participant in Corvette Forum and contributing to the vast knowledge base that is already here. My plan for the Z06 is to preserve, maintain and enjoy it in OEM form to the extent possible. The '02 Z06 is already an awesome performer right off the production line.
