hello from NC
long time chevy guy (trucks, Suv's, multiple LS swaps) but finally got my hands on my first corvette. 06' black on black C6 Z51, manual, one owner, 78K miles, bone stock, completely unmolested. located in Fuquay NC so def looking to join the community on here and out here.
FYI: any tips or advice any local guys can give on what exhaust they're running here in NC that passes smog/ emissions. please let me know

Welcome to the forum from Hickory, NC!
Sorry but I cannot help you with the Smog/Emissions Testing. Hickory is a small enough town, far enough away from Charlotte that we are only required to have the safety inspection. For emissions testing counties I believe the testing is by use of the OBD-II port (not sure if they perform a visual check for applicable smog equipment).
I'm sure you will meet many Corvette owners in your area who can give you better info on what works as far as headers/exhaust.
