"Old" New Corvette Buyer
Hello, My name is Mark Richardson, I live in Jacksonville, Florida, own a Graphics and Sign Business, Play with Cars, Trucks and Bikes. I've owned two Corvettes, both were 1967 small block models, both were modified, one was Black with silver stripes and Black interior, very much an amateur restoration and the second was a frame off car that my wife and I enjoyed for several years before we had a family start up and it had to go.
I'm one of those guys who always dreamed of owning a flying car that was promised to us in the 60's from the saturday morning cartoons.... and that has never happened, and I've always wanted a mid engine Corvette that was always being promised over the years from the 60's to Now... and then it Happened!!!
I have a 2020 White with Red interior C8 on order that is in the 2nd Allotment, I'm told it will arrive sometime in July (Fingers Crossed), I'm very excited to finally have a "bucket list" car for me, I always assumed I would not be one of those "Senior" Citizens that was driving a sports car to prove how Young and Cool he is.... Guess that went down the drain! But I just could not resist the opportunity to own a history making vehicle.
I am looking forward to catching up on the latest and greatest innovations of the Corvette, seeing what other folks plan on doing with their cars, and hope I will be able to enjoy the C8 for many years to come and be able to pass it along to my Son one day.
