My name is Justin and I own a 1994 Chevy Corvette LT1 C4. I've been using the forum for the past 2 years to help me on my on-going journey of learning auto mechanics. This community has been a HUGE help on diagnosing and fixing the on-going issues of having a 220k mile Corvette so I wanted to join the forum community to help contribute anyway I can to other C4 owners.
My C4 is posted below. I purchased it 2 years ago off of a friend of a friend who couldn't diagnose why the car wasn't getting over 2000 RPM's. Having no mechanical knowledge I quickly dived in studying and within a month found out the issue to be the mass air flow sensor. $100 later I had a running Corvette (for now). Throughout this forum I learned how to perform the dreaded optispark swap, diagnosing many misfires, change motor mounts (that was fun with long tube headers), and much more. Hopefully many more successful projects to come!
Currently on the car... The C6 Decals were already on the car when purchased and currently I have C5 Rims on it. As a previous C5 owner I really loved the chrome rims so decided to pickup a pair. I also have long-tube headers on the car with a MangnaFlow Exhaust.
I think that's it for now, thank you for welcoming me onto the forum.
Welcome to the forum, Justin, and congratulations on your nic C4!
Great that you have been able to dig through the C4 sections of the forum to find and use the info needed to fix challenges with your car!
