New C6 owner from Indianapolis, had it about 3 months. Previously had a c5 for about 6months, so new to vettes. Was big into drag racing for years decided it was just too expensive to do at the level I was at.
I loved drag racing as a kid, glue to the TV set watching Big Daddy (Don) and Shirley Muldowney. I finally got to a live event up in New Hampshire a few years back and realized I had not really experienced what it was all about. Live you feel and hear the power that you just can't imagine over the airwaves. The other nice thing about the circuit is they're so open and approachable. You can wander around the pits and watch feet away as the setup for a run. Very cool.
Welcome to the forum!! That's a sharp C6!! Any neat options on the car?
not really its a base model. low miles standard stereo, after market wheels and a subwoofer and amp in back. I added a Uniden R3 last week and next will be a E85 conversion kit. then a new kenwood or some other nice receiver unit. I also plan to get a wind sheild very soon. eventually a new exhaust. Ill keep it street. Ive done enough drag racing in my time already.
