Hello, I've been lurking around the forum for about a year. I don't know what happened , I always kinda liked Corvettes but in the last year or two I have really develop a need for one. I think it's because I know a couple guys my age that died unexpectedly and think I better get one before it's too late. Problem is I can't afford one in a responsible manner. I'm a blue collar guy and it has taken every penny to support the family. 3 of the 5 kids are still at home. Based on the past couple decades of marriage and work I have no reason to believe I will be flush with cash in the next decade or two. I'm getting closer than I have ever been to saying f&@$ it, and using my home equity to buy a Vette. I'm not even talking about one I really want, just a $10K C4. It seems that many members here are doing well financially, how many are doing it by hook or by crook?
I feel like a little kid. BUT I WANT IT!
Either I'll get a Vette or I'll get over it. Everyone is healthy and we have food, clothing, and shelter.
Welcome to the Forums.. lurk no more, but don't extend yourself financially in these uncertain times.. family comes first right now. Now may a good time to prepare for a future Corvette purchase.
Welcome!
As others have said, perhaps there will be a little longer wait for your Corvette, but hopefully the time will soon come when you have one.
Definitely want to see pics when that day arrives!!
