Apparently I never did a formal introduction. Don't remember. Anyway...if I did...I guess I'll do another, if I didnt, well...here it is!
Hello everyone! Hope to try and be a contributing member (don't know how what with being brand new...sort of). But I'll try to be as engaging as I can. I'm an old guy, 68yrs young. Just a plain "working stiff" that never really had the money, to engage, in something I've always loved...(then) drag racing and muscle cars. (Now) more of just owning a classic car but still like the "muscle cars and drag racing! I'm not a mechanic, I'm old and fat but I do remember some fine machines! (Family and friends and an opportunity to drive!) Well...got the Corvette bug. My late wife and I have always loved them and now I have an opportunity to be the owner of one! Had a 76...sold it and was looking for a BB car but it wasn't meant to be. Now...the proud owner of a 1968 L79 4spd convertible! Was "all original", one owner, 34k mi. Bloomington Gold (silver) survivor. Have recently updated all suspension, with correct reproduction parts, and it handles beautifully! Glad to be a member and hope to maybe meet some other folks, here around Houston, Tx. and on this forum. Good luck to all!
Apparently, I'm an idiot! Haha. Figured out how to see my profile (this technology eludes me) and, guess what? Yep...I did post, in intros, about a year ago!! Oh well! Don't mind waving a hand for a second time! Haha.
