I never thought I'd ever be interested in a corvette. I even assumed they would never build a ME corvette when I saw the rumors years ago. I totally missed that they actually built it. It even looks great. Concept cars always seem to come out terrible in the end.
I have a long dead 914. Yard art now. I rebuilt it when I was 15, so I can't part with it. Had a MR2 30 years ago (the square one). Super fun car. I almost would get a modern day Lotus, but it's about as big as a shoe. GT3 would be great if I had 250k to set on fire. Somehow I will get a C8 Z06 when they build those. I drive the almost complete opposite of a vette now, an Audi eTron. Fast, great ride, I'm surprised how much I like it. It has a speaker so you don't run anyone over it is so quiet. A 9k rpm vette though, I'm totally in. I have a Ducati now, and you CPC fans will love a high reving engine. In town sure, not as fun, but it will be great. It's not like 650 hp will have terrible tq.
If there are any locals let me know. Would love to do SIR (whatever it's called these days), PIR, etc for track days. I raced M/C's back in the day. Roasting some tires sounds like great fun.
