Hello from the UK. I've just joined the Forum after buying my first Corvette last December. It's a red, small block '78 Coupe with matching numbers which was previously owned by someone in Pennsylvania, and was imported into the UK in October last year. I have a copy of the original Title for the vehicle which says it was first registered on 16 Oct 1978, my 20th birthday, so I guess I had to buy the car as a late birthday present to myself!
I've joined the Classic Corvette Club UK, and was looking forward to attending shows and events here in the UK this summer with the car, but of course COVID-19 has scuppered that little plan. However, it has given me time to contemplate, and in some cases do something about some of the issues that need sorting on the car, and to that end I think I'll be making regular visits to the technical sections of the Forum!
Welcome to the Forum, Mark, and congratulations on your C3!
Cool how the date of registration matches up to your birthday!
We have much the same thing.......our wedding anniversary and "birthday" for our C5 are the same month and day (although there is a 28 year gap between the two events. )
