First Time Vette Owner!

Good Morning Ladies and Gents. I figure while I'm waiting on my build thread to be approved in the C6 area I'd drop in here and say hi! I'm a first time vette owner. Just picked up a 2005 Corvette Convertible 3lt (kinda). It seems they didn't use that appreciation on the 2005s from what I've read, but it's got every option available in 05 so 3lt-ish? :-)

I buy vehicles from salvage auctions and rebuild them. This current vette is a clean titled theft recovery with 61k miles on. It's in pieces right now as we clean, fix, and update it. More details in the soon to be approved build thread. So far I've learned that I never ever ever want to replace a harmonic balancer again. That was a serious PITA!

Yeah - the harmonic dampener replacement is a little involved. That's why there are some many jokes about "while you are there." But, it is the perfect time to update your cam, water pump, etc.

I'm about 60-65 miles west of you in Tullahoma.

Oh cool! After going back and looking at the stickers that makes sense. It’s a 1SB! Thanks for the info.
