C6 Owner Eventually
Hi, guys! I’m a new member from right outside of east Atlanta. I’m 21 and plan to buy a C6 soon. I currently have a V6 automatic 2015 Camaro. I had always been in love with the 5th gen Camaro since the concept car was introduced. I finally bought one at 18. I got the V6 auto because I was looking for something that was practical and more affordable, but still fun.
However, the fun has started to fade. I’m tired of the V6, automatic, and lack of aftermarket support. I’ve loved Corvettes, but they always seemed out of my reach. However, now the prices of C6s are getting closer to where I’d like them to be. I’ve always paid for everything myself which is why I’m waiting to find the best deal possible. I paid the Camaro off last year, I have put a lot into a Roth IRA, have a good bit in my own stocks, and a lot put away in savings so I think it’s safe to say I can be a little bit irresponsible and treat myself with a Vette.
Now, I just have to find one to buy. I’ve seen a few good deals here and there, but they’re always way too far away. I also need to find a car to get some experience driving a manual. I’ve always known how to drive manual, but knowing how and being able to actually drive one are two different things. And as soon as I get the Vette, I’m selling the Camaro and a good bit of that money is going towards Vette mods.
Anyways, y’all wish me luck on my search. I look forward to asking you guys a lot of stupid questions and enjoying my future Corvette.
