We are new members to the Corvette Forums as my wife and I have recently jumped head first into Corvette Ownership. We purchased a beautiful 2015 3LT Z51 Stingray Convertible back in January and it was such an amazing car to drive that I decided to pick up a 2016 2LZ Z06 convertible and give the Stingray to my wife. We now daily drive both of these vehicles and it is the most fun both of us have ever had driving! If you would like to follow us along on our journey, you can by following us on Instagram and Facebook @DailyDrivenCorvettes and Subscribe to our new YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQO...wF1767VoZH-lMA
Yesterday we had Vengeance Racing install a Stage 1 Performance Kit on the Stingray and it is absolutely incredible! They installed Kooks Long-tube Headers, high flow catted X-Pipe, 180 degree thermostat, Mighty Mouse Catch Can, racing plug wire harness and a Dyno tune. All said and done, they added about 60 RWHP to the LT1 engine and it now is even more amazing to daily drive it! The responsiveness of the throttle, the sound of the exhaust and even the fuel economy is absolutely incredible! I am very happy Branden at Vengeance talked me out of doing an axle-back exhaust and going for the Stage 1. You can check out the pictures and the dyno video on our Instagram and will post a video of the build on YouTube soon.
We're thrilled to be a part of this amazing community and couldn't be happier with both of our Vettes! It's hard to beat the feeling you get behind the wheel of a 650HP or 510HP convertible and will probably never be able to drive another car with the same excitement ever again!
Thank you all for the welcome! What type of Corvette(s) is everyone driving? I would love to see some unique trim combos. The wife and I are planning to build a C8 Z06 the year after their initial release and would love to get some inspiration for different exterior/interior trims.
Welcome to the Forum, and congratulations on "his and hers" C7s!
Just checked out your first video and subscribed. I'm sure you have already noticed that a lot of comments are drowned out by exhaust. Perhaps you can incorporate mics a little closer to each of you to help.
Best wishes with your channel!

Thank you for the support and the feedback! We are definitely going to look into getting mics. We're new to the whole YouTube thing and it's proving to have a bit of a learning curve but figured we see how the go-pro audio was compared to the PDR. The PDR audio was so good that it picked up the exhaust too much (convertible problems haha) The next video we're working on should hopefully be a little clearer and will show us at Vengeance Racing picking up our Stingray after having the Stage 1 kit installed. But mics are for sure on our short list of things to buy.
