Hi all, we're Jeff and Angela from Tucson, AZ. We bought her dad's 1996 6-speed Vette from him in Feb 2017, when he upgraded to a later model. He put a good amount of work and his personality into it and we haven't changed anything on it, it's been a great drive. I know he put in a coilover kit, stereo mods, and a number of cosmetic mods when he owned it, but the engine and drivetrain seem fairly unmolested other than an intake and exhaust.
I've been on other car forums for quite a while - I joined the camaroV6.com forums in 2003 and was a regular poster and drivetrain moderator for years, and also at the frrax.com F-Body Road Racing and Autocross forums - I road race my 2001 V6 Firebird (too many mods to list!) out here, mainly at Inde Motorsports and Wild Horse Pass (fka Firebird). We also have a 1992 Camaro (Angela's mom's old car), and a 2013 Focus and 2005 Mini Cooper S for daily drivers.
I'm looking forward to finding great resources on things like maintenance, C4-friendly car lifts, and some parts selling for both the C4 and some C6/C7 parts we've inherited.
Welcome to the Forum, Jeff and Angela and congratulations on your "fleet"!
Lived in Tucson back in the '80s and still try to get there whenever we get back to AZ.
