About a month ago I made the quick decisions to buy this beautiful 05 C6 with 94k. I had some money saved up for a newer car and I was really eyeing a S550 mustang, but when a deal falls in your lap you just can't say no. My dad and I have been huge Mustang fans but considering he has two vettes in his garage I think he converted me. (My Yellow C6 below, and my dads crazy C3 (He's also got a nice C4 black on red convertible 6-speed))
First impressions after a month of ownership: 400 hp, 6 speed manual, and a targa top is perfect for ripping through these Miami Streets. The Corsa Extreme catbacks make this LS2 scream and I can't get enough. I have no regrets with this purchase (considering it's the biggest purchase i've made in my 23years).
It's got it's problems that i'll be working on in the next few months and I'm sure this forum will have plenty of information to help me fix some things here and there.
-HUD is not working (I think the mirror is out of alignment from what I've seen, looks like i'll be taking out the dash sometime soon)
-Clock is not working on my navigation screen. (read through a simple fix on that)
-Center Stack bezel is cracked so I'll be looking for a ZO6 on to replace it along with a new head unit that is apple car play compatible (along with adding a backup camera because with these tints it's impossible to see at night)
-Traction control/ Abs/ Stability Systems need service. (I have a steering Wheel sensor in a box as there is not one on the car atm. From what I've read that hopefully will be the fix)
Would love to meet up with any enthusiasts in the South Florida Area for auto crosses, car shows or drag races.
