I'm back!!!
Hey guys, I'm not a new member but am finally back in the Corvette family. After selling my 2007 base C6 in 2013 to buy a house I find myself in a position to get back into a Vette.
I was set on an FRC and of course it had to be black. After seeing a beautiful car sell on the forum a week or so before I was ready, I got lucky and found almost the identical car at a local dealer.
I am the proud new owner of a 1999 Black FRC, black interior with 37k miles on the clock. My original plan was to build a twin turbo beast (which still may happen) but I find myself really enjoying the car the way it is. It current has a volant CAI, Borla catback, husrst shifter and LS6 intake manifold. First changes I plan to make is tints, wheels and headers. After that probably a cam, heads and FAST intake. We'll see where this build goes, as for now I'm just happy to be back behind the wheel of a Corvette.

Welcome back.
But there's no such thing as a 2007 C7. If it was really a 2007, it was a C6. C6s were model years 2005 through 2013.

You're right. I fat fingered the key board. It was a C6.
