My heart is set for a c6 Vette. Pretty much set now just saving some $$ and planing on buying in the next 6-12months. IMO the C6 is the last real good looking Vette and have my heart pretty much set on a Z06 but if a nice GS comes by for the right price I will jump on that.. Planning on spending 35-40K on what I want. Anyway, I'm going to spend some time researching as much as I can learn on this forum, I have seen already some pretty good deals come through in the private seller forum.
All that said, my 1st car was a used 86 Z28 that i loved. It was a dog but I thought it was the $hit at the time. Wish i was 19 again. Only other high performace car that I owned was in 08, I bough a Subaru STI and modded to about 400bhp. It was a fun car but then I got divorced and had some finacial problems so no more toys for a while. I'm better financially these days and think it is now time to enjoy a Corvette, Aways it has been dream car of mine since the 1980s and my dad has a mint 1976 Stingray that I drool over.
Welcome to the Forum, Larry!
Lots of great members and helpful info in the C6 sections at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-2005-2013-14/. Take some time and check the Sticky Threads at the tops of the sections. Material there will probably help you be a more informed shopper when you are ready to press on with your purchase.
Best wishes with you search and hope you have a great C6 in your garage soon!
So thanks to this sight I purchased my dream car and first Corvette from ConfusedGarage on this sight https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...cch-heads.html.
He offered his 06 Z06 up for sale and I took delivery of it on Thurday 12/10 (Merry Christmass to me). She is prestine and very well cared for. Regardless of market value I feel I got an excellent deal and could not have bought a car from a better guy.
Here some of my pics in my garage. I cant wait for spring to get here now. At least it will give me some time to change out the stereo.
