Hey Everyone! I am a "newbie" from Omaha. I don't currently own a Corvette but I am looking to make my first purchase. I have long been in love with the C2 Corvette - ever since the TV Show "Stingray" when I was a kid got me hooked! As such, I have always wanted one. Pricing on the C2 seems a bit out of reach for me. So, I'm looking at a C7 Stingray and evaluating what year to buy and what options I want... I am currently looking at a 2014 LT3 convertible from a private seller. It's not a Z51 but nicely loaded otherwise and only ~20k miles.
My previous sportscar was a 2000 Jaguar XK8. Beautiful car, fun to drive and cornered like it was on rails but the eventual unreliability and high cost to maintain drove me to see it.
I have a lot to learn about Corvettes and look forward to becoming a part of the community here!
Welcome to the Forum!
Lots of great members and helpful info in the C7 sections at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...2014-2019-141/. Especially read the Sticky Notes at the top of the "General" section; this will help you be a well informed shopper.
Best wishes in your search for the Corvette right for you!

Welcome and best of luck in your Corvette search.
The C7 is an amazing car and the 2014 has been a very reliable car. I would recommend you check out the C7 sections of the forum if you are looking seriously at that generation of Corvette. You will find plenty of information about the car and when you are ready to buy, there are a number of well cared for C7s listed for sale in the C7s for Sale section.
