Hello all
Hello. Just signed up yesterday finally but have been gleaning info from here for a year or so. I live in N. Texas and work in DFW area. Bought my first (and most likely only) 74 stingray about a year and a half ago. I’ve wanted a C3 for most of my adult life and finally have one.
I have had to do a lot of work before I even get to work on the car as I decided that using a floor jack and ramps just wouldn’t make it. So, I installed a 2 post low lift. Well of course the anchors wouldn’t hold, so seeing what some others had done with cutting out and laying new concrete, I decided to do that as well. It seemed good, but me being overly cautious I modified the lift with a larger baseplate as well. Ok, don’t think it’s going anywhere now!
Anyway, am now in process of converting to coil overs on my original cntrl arms and adding poly bushings and bigger sway bar. The rear suspension afterwards.
Well, enough about me. I signed up cause I’m not a mechanic....just a guy that believes in doing things himself but realize that I will definitely need some advise along the way.
