I'm a 70 year old guy who just filled a life long "want" and purchased my first Corvette. A 2004 C5 convertible. No collector piece by any means but mechanically solid and looks pretty good. It has been through many owners and I feel like several were not very good at mods or repairs. I have found many littler issues not properly fixed or not fixed at all. I new for the price it was not going to be perfect nor did I want one that way as I plan to enjoy driving it and tinkering. My wife and I spend a couple month in the winter in Florida and usually trailer her Cadillac but this year the vette will be our Florida car. I joined the forum to learn and ask questions, so be patient and help an old man enjoy his dream.
Welcome to the Forum, Monty, and congratulations on your C5!
As Vetteman Jack suggested, lots of great members and helpful info in the C5 sections at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1997-2004-2/.
Enjoy your ride and save the wave!
