Back after a long hiatus. My first was a washboard hood 58, 283 3-speed white with red coves, I got for $300 when I was 15 and sold when I went into the Navy in 71.
I still still vividly remember a September day in 67 shortly after I bought the 58, while waiting to cross the street a brand new red 68 vet stopped at the light and absolutely took my breadth away (que Berlin music😜. So I’m basically a 1968 c3 guy having owned three, two L71 (my first dressed as an ‘69 L88). We currently an L36 that my wife and I put back together — electrical & vacuum systems and interior.
My first job out of HS was a painter at MFG in Ashtabula O. If you have a late 71 Vette, I probably primed it.
