Thank you, I have a lot of memories in the car. Hope to make a few more in “retirement”. It needs a new top and some interior work. Paint is 45 years old. Still looks good. You are never quite done with them even when they’re 63 year kids.
Hello Dennis, I grew up in Toledo. Welcome to the forum. We may have known each other back in the day if that's where you were raised. Did you hang out at McDonalds on Lewis off of Alexis?

See you in the C1/C2 forum.
Hi Steve, I was raised in South Toledo off Broadway a few blocks from the Toledo Zoo. I used to cruise all over the city when i first got the Vette. I recall a McDonalds on Alexis as one of the first in Toledo. My favorite place was the Frisch’s Big Boy on Summit near the High Level bridge. Got my first ticket there. Long story but let’s say it was for excessive noise squealing tires. Cop was on the other side of the drive in drinking a coffee when the roar of my 283 single four barrel laying rubber on the other side disturbed his break. It didn’t matter that two of my buddies left just before me doing the same thing. I was the example!.
I remember that Frisch's. I drove a 68 Firebird back in the day. It was rebuilt and heavily modified after I blew up the stock engine. I cruised all over the city but my regular hangout was the McDonalds. I lived in Point Place.
