I am very fortunate to have acquired a 1959 Corvette Convertible from my father. Dad has decided to pass the car along; A kind gesture that I one day intend to replicate when I pass the 'Vette along. Dad has owned the car since the mid 80's, and while not original, the car is is great shape and looks, runs and drives very nice. I take no credit for the condition of the car, but, I am proud of my fathers achievement and sincerely appreciate his sacrifices of time, treasure and talent.
The car was in very poor condition, at best, when dad acquired. The original motor had been replaced with a 327 and has since been completely rebuilt and bored 10 over. The performance cam and the Muncie 4spd certainly make the car a joy to drive and a real treat for this baby-boomer!
I am a huge history buff, and while I have some mechanical skill and limited classic car knowledge, I am not a mechanic. I look forward to researching, learning and respecting this car and all that it represents.

What a great thing your dad did for you and a beautiful C1. Welcome to the forum and hope you find it as a valuable resource for information on your car.
