Hello we have owned this C7 since January 2021. Also owned three other Vettes over the years. We believe this one is the best for quality control and technology. Looking forward to our weather here in Michigan to warm up. Thanks for including us in the Forum.
OK, well I was pretty stoked about my new yellow C7 arriving. I accomplished all the tasks Carvana gave me; Get a physical paper title and scan it up to them (for several years now Ohio has been all digital on auto titles, not a problem for licensed dealers in Ohio, but apparently Carvana's presence in Ohio is not equivalent to local dealerships so you have to take time off work and go to the county title bureau to wait in line and get a paper title).
I got a message from Carvana three days out aimed at maintaining my enthusiasm and prepping me for the big delivery in three days. Make sure your documents are signed and you have your insurance agent establish coverage so you can take delivery!
The night prior to scheduled delivery, I took a drive down to the nearest Carvana vending machine location, only about 12 miles away from my home. I drove around it several times, in the dark, looking at the eight levels of vehicles in storage, and I saw no yellow Corvette. Oh well, it's probably arriving tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow, I get the Carvana text message, "Sorry, we weren't able to deliver on time, we'll have your car next week. Please sign new purchase agreement documents."
OK - Now I'm done.
I started shopping locally on autotrader dot com and found a 2015 Crystal Red Tintcoat Stingray 1LT package with 5k miles that the dealer was ready to give me a Vroom level (inflated) trade in in value on my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon plus they dealed down from their list price and I took the 5k mile 2015 CRT Stingray home 1 1/2 hour after closing time from the local dealership.
Anyway, I'm glad to be here for all the great information and discussions.
