Hi all, I am a long time General Motors fan, have owned a few Australian GM-Holdens and a couple years ago owned a 2002 Cadillac Seville STS 4.6 ex-Japan RHD. I live in Sydney. Australia.
I have always liked Corvettes and have a soft spot for the C4. I have two C4s - but they are 1/24 Monogram(?) scale models!
Now I want to buy the real thing. There are a few C4s for sale here, but none that look any good are close to me.
One idea I have is to buy a car from the USA and have it shipped to Australia. If I can find a good broker in the US, I'm hoping to find a 90 or 91 Coupe or Covertible auto with no more than about 100,000 miles, original, tidy for about US$8000-$10,000. I hope that is realistic. It's hard to pin down prices both here and in the US as they seem all over the place.
Anyway, you might find me kicking around the C4 part of the forum when I get my car.
Thanks everyone for the welcome!
I am on a steep learning curve, reading up as much as I can about the C4. I will try to finds answers I need on the forum first and not ask too many newbie questions
