Hello all! Thrilled new 1979 C3 owner! I purchased the car about 4 weeks ago from someone who worked for Dan Gurney's race team from 1987-1994 or 95. A great guy but not one of Mr Gurney's mechanics. He was part of the engineering team. Computers was his thing. We both live in Jacksonville FL. The car needs attention and I am beginning to address the issues. He said the engine was rebuilt about 5k miles ago but from the condition I have my doubts. It may have been but maybe that was 10 years ago. So my almost 2 year search for a C3 is finally over and now the real work begins.
