Since a child, I have had an affinity for corvettes and have always sworn I would own a '69 manual Vette. The shape just spoke to something inside of me. Against my desire, I was able to be responsible until I was in a more appropriate financial position to begin acting on these desires. Well, then the c7 hit the market, and my love shifted (sorry '69), and now the c8.... On the list for a c8 and saving pennies but also eyeing some later c7's. In the next 12 months, I will be able to join the ownership family and cannot wait to learn from this community.
the c-2's always struck me as a car that shows style and swag. I can see driving it on a country road with the top down.... the resto-mods really made them daily drivers and so much more. I look forward to the day you have it and it can inspire others of us.

Welcome and good luck deciding which generation of Corvette is right for you. I have had C3s, C4s, C5s and now a C7 and to me, they just keep getting better. But someday I would love to own a C2 - that style just captures my attention all the time.
