Id like to introduce myself and thank the forum for accepting me.
Im 69 years and always been a car guy, I enjoy working on old cars, having done two restorations now and am at a point in life were a Corvette is within grasp
Back in. 1972 through 1974 I had a 65 roadster with a small block, I loved that car, I met and courted my wife of now 47 years in that car and it holds many happy memories.
I sold it in later 74 and paid off my brand new 74 Monte Carlo, which back in those days, to have a new car paid in full was a big deal, at least with me it was.
After many decades I finally got back into the car hobby and presently have a very nice 1969 Plymouth Sport Satellite convertible, completely restored and rebuilt, but its not the car I always wanted.
And so after careful thinking and conversation at this point in life I may finally ready for a C2 roadster or later year C1.
Im looking for a driver quality car, non numbers matching clean car. Nothing modified.
Because of space as well as finance's the Plymouth is for sale and whatever I sell it for will go towards the corvette
So thats the basic story and hopefully the dream will happen soon
Thanks Steve

Welcome to the forum. Bet you wish you still had the '65 now - but life marches on. Good luck finding either a C1 or C2 and getting back into Corvette ownership.
