I don’t know if I am a new member? Renewed member? Or an old member that has come back to haunt the forum.
I last owned a Corvette, and a 2008 coupe with the Z51 package, in 2009/10, and last posted on the forum around that time, well over a decade ago.
Like many people during the recession, I went through financial hell for an extended period of time, but have finally come out on the other side.
Resultantly, I began looking for a Corvette some months ago. My first was a 1972 Stingray, and my last was the C6 noted above. Both models really have had my heart forever. But, I think these days and more of a modern comforts type of guy, so I chose a 2008 Z-06 As my last, best, Corvette. It felt like the velocity yellow was a great way to bookend my Corvettes. I am really looking forward to enjoying this vehicle in getting to know the members here in the forum.
