My name is Mark, I'm 30 years old and from western Pennsylvania (let's just say Pittsburgh area). I live out in the country, my town is probably barely noticeable on a map lol. Yesterday I bought my first Corvette in Connecticut. 18 some hours later there and back it's home. It's a black 1992 C4, 6 speed manual transmission, 43,400ish miles and pretty clean and solid overall. I always wanted a C4 from the early 90s, love the style. What a fun car to drive with peppy performance, I was amazed how quick this car is for being stock. My reason for wanting a Corvette? Well it's the ultimate American sports car in my opinion. I also currently have a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am and a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 supercharged. These were project vehicles and some of the work is unfinished, but eventually I am going to sell these two vehicles I had fun with in my 20s to simplify things. Time to begin a new era for my life. Just going to be a Corvette guy.
So that being said, I joined this forum because I am a complete rookie when it comes to these cars. Did some research before buying and I have learned a lot already, but the more you know the better. I'm sure I'll need help and information and this is the best place for it in my opinion.
My excitement level is currently through the roof. Happy to be here as well.

Mark - congrats on the purchase of your C4 and welcome to the forum. Be sure to check out the various C4 sections of the forum for a ton of information and some very helpful members.
I just tried to post a intro thread again because I thought it didn't go through. Then I realized it has to be approved by a moderator. Can you tell I'm new? lol
Welcome to the Forum, Mark, and congratulations on your C4!
Great to see you chose to drive it back home rather than having it shipped - great way to learn more about your car.
Lot of great members and helpful info in the C4 sections at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-1984-1996-19/.
Enjoy your ride and save the wave!
