New guy from central KS. I joined up last December but haven’t been active on the forums. I’ve always loved Corvettes even as a kid. I’m starting to look around for one, not sure what gen. My wife thinks I’m crazy.
Welcome to the Forum, Jeff!
A couple of suggestions for deciding on the generation of Corvette you would most like. 1. Try attending car meets or Corvette shows in your area (using this link might help: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...in-prairie-46/ ). Talk to owners of the different generations. Ask them what "steered" them to that particular generation. You could also ask if they have owned other generations and what they saw as the pros and cons of the different generations they owned. 2. Read through the Tech and General sections for each generation you may be interested in. Be sure and read any Sticky Threads at the top of each section. This may also help give you the goods and not so goods for each generation.
This may be a car you have for many years so don't worry if it takes you a little time researching to get the Corvette right for you!
Best wishes with your search!
Edit: Don't worry about your wife thinking you are crazy. My wife has always loved our Corvettes and has helped me decide on new wheels, new upholstery, etc; but, even with all that, she thinks I am crazy.

Thank you for the welcome and the suggestions. I will definitely follow those ideas!
