I am a 55 year old mechanical maintenance supervisor at a steel mill here in Saskatchewan.
Picked up an 07 C6 with 52k kilometres (32k miles), pretty darn minty and stock/original. Has the wobbly balancer which I will repair shortly, need to service torque tube./driveshaft as preventative maintenance and will check clutch while I’m in there.
Future modifications I’m considering, cam, heads, intake manifold (possibly LSA supercharger), headers, cold air intake, brakes and coil overs as time/health/finances permit.
in the meantime I am thoroughly enjoying one of dream cars realized. I’ve been riding motorcycles since 1982, I’ve seen too many people die in accidents, I’ve been hurt a couple times myself, I decided to hang up the helmet and get the corvette, bitter sweet to say the least but I don’t recover the way I used to.
happy to be here, looking forward to learning a lot and enjoying my new (to me) corvette to the fullest.
