New guy from central IL
Good evening all.
Finally reached that point in life where working and saving has paid off. I'm just a 36 year old millennial born a solid 50 years too late doing my best to live the American dream. I have been creeping this site for months trying to decide between a C5 and C6. Started out looking for a C6 Grand Sport. I have looked at CTS-V, ZL1, G8, SS, GT350, etc. and came still back full circle. As time went on I slowly started noticing the C5. I don't know what it is about the lines of the C5 versus the C6 but the C5 just grabs my soul. The C6 looks like a cartoon care in base form. Granted the C6 GS and Z cars are gorgeous but they are overkill for my needs.
After months I have set my sights on the C5. Currently on the hunt for a 2001-2004 auto, targa top car. For my purposes of cruising, destressing and smiling, a C5 will be more than adequate.
I'm hoping I can find a better deal as winter nears here in the cornfields of central IL (Springfield area).
