Introduction
Hi All,
So I have just purchased my first Corvette. As a kid I used to have a picture of a bright yellow C4 on my wall so when came up for sale i could not say no. It has been a struggle to far, and I didn’t go into it with my eyes closed I knew there would be some work to do!
therefore so far I have:
1. Changed the 2 front wheel bearings
2. replaced the seal and bush on the output shaft, which meant replacing the exhaust studs as they all sheared!
3. new plugs, leads, cap, and rotor
4. Timed the engine
5. replaced the ERG pipe (although it seems most people remove it anyway).
So recently I have been chasing an electrical problem, which involved taking more bit off than I anticipated, however proved to be useful as I found a mouse nest and some chewed wires, so to be on the safe side I have removed all the dash board so that I could check all the wiring. This was not an easy task but does mean I can also clean away 30 years of dirt!

Welcome to the forum. If your dwelling place for the Vette is the one that's got the mice, spread mothballs on the ground around the Vette. It will get rid of them for you.
