Hello, Long time stalker. New member.
Started working on vettes in high school auto body. Teacher had a 1970 track car. Class project was a 74 that had been rear ended. Rebuilt to look like a new 79.
My first vette was a black 84. It was hit so hard the left front wheel didn't touch the ground. My current vette is a 72 that I purchased four years ago because I liked the color. It had issues. I had other projects so it was parked and forgotten.
Now garage is cleared out and the vette has my full attention. It's running, and driving now. Front and rear suspension rebuilt, all wheel bearings, u-joints, brakes replaced. It has enough miles on it now I feel it is dependable. Time to make it comfortable. I have a 700R4 at the rebuilders and my plan is to fix the a/c and stop all the hot air that cooks your feet on a long trip. Shovelhead.us
