Hello All,
I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nick and I live in New Jersey. I’ve owned (2) Corvettes, both have been sold.
I had a 2006 Black on Black LT3 manual transmission. The car was beautiful. I traded that in and purchased a 2016 SILVER LT2.
I kept that for a few years and then I bought a 2014 911.
The 911 was my dream car since I was a kid. I loved the way it looked. I still do, I just didn’t love the way it drove. Don’t get me wrong, the car was in pristine condition (13,000 miles) but I was just never comfortable driving it. People would laugh at me when I told them that I was more comfortable driving the Corvette than the Porsche.
So here I am, Corvette shopping in one of the craziest times that I have seen. Although I love the Corvette I just don’t have the money to pay the “Premium” that many dealerships are looking for the car.
Do any of you know if there are any dealerships still honoring the MSRP? I would be willing to travel or have the car shipped to New Jersey.
From: In a parallel universe. Currently own 2014 Stingray Coupe.

Welcome to the forum. If you are looking to purchase a new C8, there are a number of dealers that offer the cars at MSRP, but the wait time can be 8-12 months from the time you get on the wait list. Instead of continuing that conversation in this section, which is just designed for introductions, you may want to direct any questions you may have to the members in the C8 General section. They can tell you all about the process for placing an order for a new Corvette.
Welcome to the Forum, Nick!
As Vetteman Jack suggested you may want to check out the C8 sections; especially C8 General Discussion. Members there can help point you toward dealers who honor MSRP. However (unfortunately), the wait time is rather long right now which helps support those dealerships who want to jack up the prices.
Best wishes with your search.
