Hi,
I joined this forum many years ago when I was looking for gift ideas for his 2007 LT3 Red Corvette. He really loved it. He kept it garaged the entire time and always had a smile on his face when he drove it. 4 months ago I was enjoying a bourbon with him, 2 weeks later he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He passed away on September 9 and left me his corvette. It has just under 60,000 miles. I am 6'6" tall so corvettes have always been a struggle to fit in. I am surprised that I actually fit in it pretty well. He had some crazy flames on the front and it is heading into the paint shop in 2 weeks to get it back to it's original beauty. I plan to give it to my Son someday. I look forward to interacting on these forums and maybe meeting a few people here in Eugene, OR area.. I will post a few pics once it is back from the paint shop. It has the red/black interior. If anyone is dying to see the flames before they are gone let me know and I will post a pic hah.
Welcome to being more active on the Forum.
Condolences on the passing of your father, but how great that he left his C6 to year to continue his legacy, and even cooler when your son will be the 3rd generation owner/driver.
