Minnesota - First Vette!
Greetings everyone! I’m Jason from Hutchinson, MN. Had my 2022 Stingray order accepted last Friday…..Rapid Blue 2LT coupe. I already have new wheels, carbon fiber high wing and other add-ons sitting in my garage. I guess I’m a wee-bit excited to be a Corvette owner. I look forward to gaining some knowledge from you folks, and perhaps meeting some other C8 owners and enthusiasts.
I am buying this car, in-part, as a memorial to my 11 year old son Caleb, who passed away in July 2019 after an ATV accident. I always told him someday we would own a mid-engine sports car. I think, at the time, we were planning on a Lamborghini….he loved the Huracan. But a car of that dollar figure just isn’t within our reach. When the C8 was introduced, I knew this was the car he would love. His favorite color was light blue, so Rapid Blue it is! My wife, daughter and I are very excited.
