Hello all. There were two sports cars I have always loved, Corvette and Porsche. I had Vettes up to 1988 and a 944 from then right up to this minute. Back in November I was in a wreck with my Sportster that cost me my left leg. I am no longer able to drive the 944 that I have owned for 33 years because it is a stick. Guys in my boat are now stuck to driving automatics. The Porsche will be sold and the proceeds will be spent on a C3 with an auto. My target year is 1975, but a 1976 or 1977 may do. What goes around comes around, and now a C3 will be coming back around to me. My understanding is that C3 is rapidly gaining in value and I better expect to bring a few bags of money to get a good one. I will be checking the 'for sale' forum here for owners wishing to sell. I will also set up my profile to accept e-mails. Always glad to be around those who know that the Corvette is more than a used car. I think of them as a car that is more than the sum total of its parts. Always just plain loved them.
