Hello All,

Long time Mopar guy, just sold my 2015 Hellcat and picked up this fine specimen of American Muscle, a 2019 Z06, 2LT M7 (We call him Jr. &#128522. Debated whether to wait the 16-18 months for a new as I will never purchase above MSRP, which is what I paid for the HC when they first came out. On top of that, I wanted a manual. I've only had him a few short days, but I must say, I am very happy with my purchase and impressed with the car.

Already thinking about some upgrades, the first being the MGW short throw shifter. I am slightly concerned and interested to hear if anyone has had any rattle issues as I had upgraded a Challenger with a Hurst short throw several years back and the rattle drove me crazy. The OEM shifter is actually better than expected , but I love the feel of the short throw. I have read many posts regarding the MGW but don't see much discussion about a rattle.

I will also need tires within 6 months or so, as the car has 13k miles. Surprisingly, still good tread but I want to be ready. I've also read many posts here and decided to try the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, non run flat for a less noisy, more comfortable ride. My question is do I go a a 345 rear & 295 front ot the 325 rear and the 275 front? Not educated enough to know what changes or challenges I would face either way.

I keep seeing more and more and I'm sure I will have tons of questions for this forum. I really appreciate what I have learned from many here so far.

Thank you for letting me be a part of this group, I hope to contribute as often as possible. Wishing a Happy and Healthy and Safe New Year to you and your families!

Here are some pictures of Jr.

Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your sharp C7 Z06!
You may want to ask your tire question in the C7 General or Tech sections to get your question in front of more C7 owners. (Sorry - I would link you there but have not mastered that on my iPhone. &#128579.

Thank you Route99, much appreciated and will do. I realize I may have gotten a bit over zealous with my initial post. I keep reading and keep wanting to know more 😊! I'll post both questions in the correct section.

Have an awesome New Year!
