Greetings from rural Indiana! Been lurking around the forum for several years educating myself and finally became a Corvette owner this past summer (waited way too many years) so I figured it was high time I join. I'd like to thank all of the members here that take the time to post how-to's, pictures, write-ups and answers to countless questions. This forum really is an invaluable resource!
Here are a couple pictures of what I am sure will be an ongoing project. Brought her home from southern Michigan. It's an '87 with 26,XXX miles. Pretty good shape. Interior shows what I would call normal age, paint is in pretty good shape other than needing some clear coat correction on a couple places. Engine has clearly not been messed with. This will be a weekend cruiser for spirited county road driving and the occasional trip to drive-in theaters and restaurants. I've got a workbench full of parts to give the ignition a tune up, overhaul the brakes, and remedy a minor drip from the pinion seal. It got an oil change on its first weekend at home.
The most pressing issue is the ridiculously ugly wheels it came with. I have already acquired a set of sawblades from a '91 so I'll be working on tracking down a set of appropriate wheel adapters to get them mounted once I have some new rubber on them.
Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your nice C4!
From what I could see from your pic of the exterior, I understand totally in wanting to move to the Sawblades.
