Default New Member Needs Advice

Hi, all.

I am a new member, and I was not sure which forum this would be more appropriate for. I am coming from a 6th gen Camaro V6 (LOL). I am looking to buy my first corvette within the next year or so, but need help choosing. I am trying to decide on a C6 ZR1, C7 Z06 M7, or C8. I prefer a used corvette that has depreciated already and has a manual. Since C8 prices are crazy and might stay like this for a while, ordering a new one would be better than one on the lot with markups. I am willing to be on a waitlist to order a new C8 stingray Z51 or C8 Z06 with little to no options. I am willing to wait 1+ years to take delivery, probably longer for the Z06, if it means getting one at MSRP.

These cars should be around the same price for my budget. The corvette will be a weekend car, but I want something I can daily as well. I would keep the car long term. I test drove a manual C7 stingray Z51. It is more than enough for me. However, I would rather have a ZR1 or Z06 right away, rather than buying a lower trim and trading it in later for a higher one. Thank you!

The Intros section is really designed to introduce yourself to the forum and what you are seeking is advice outside of the Intros area. My suggestion is to just pick one of the three generations of Corvette you are considering and post your question there. Once you get some advice from the first area, you are welcome to move to the next and so on until you check out all three generations of Corvette.

Or you can look into cross posting your thread in the three generational sections. Here is the rule on cross posting https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-posting.html.

I am closing this thread and hope you find the info/advice you are seeking so you can decide which car to go with.
