Bought my 2017 Grand Sport LS3 from the Estate of my best friend when I was in the USAF who recently died of a Brain Tumor so owning it is Bitter Sweet, Nice Car and although it isn't top of the line, it's very FAST as you all know. Going to be hard to keep my good driving record in tact, already been challenged by an Audi on the freeway who pulled past me enough for me to read his License that read "IDAREYA" then backed off beside me and taunted me by revving his engine!!! I was already 10 over the limit so I just left the Cruise set!
Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your C7 GS!
I can respect the bitter sweet dichotomy of now driving your deceased best friend’s car, but I imagine that your now owning his Corvette is exactly the way he would want it.
Lot of great members and helpful info in the C7 sections at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...2014-2019-141/.
Thank you for your military service!

Route99;
Thanks for the welcome and as for my service, thanks for the recognition and you are welcome, it was my Pleasure. I have rode Harleys for 45 years and I always laughed when people would say "HD stands for Hundred Dollars" but I am quickly finding out that was Cheap compared to owning a Corvette!
I'm not too good at this "Forum" stuff, trying to reply to everyone individually but having issues, so let me just say Thank You to everyone for the Welcome and the subsequent remarks. Hope this covers ALL for now and future remarks, I will try to update my location on my profile but in case I fail, Originally from Kansas, 12 years in the USAF in ND, Now live in the Twin Cities MN. Hoping to retire soon and move to a Small Town close to the Kids but don't know if I can afford House Payments again on a retirement income if I do!
